Owner/PHysical Therapist
MICHAEL STOBIE PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Dr. Stobie was born in Spokane and grew up most of his life in Yakima. While playing baseball at Gonzaga and football in high school, Dr. Stobie battled through many injuries and spent some time going to physical therapy himself. It was during this time he began his interest in physical therapy. Dr. Stobie got his B.S. in Exercise Science at Gonzaga University in 2009. Afterwards, he moved to Denver with his wife to continue his education and received a doctorate in physical therapy at Regis University in 2012.
Dr. Stobie has done extensive research in regards to low back pain and has been published as an author in scholarly journals. Dr. Stobie has also spent several hundred hours in continuing education to become a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) and also has an endorsement for spinal manipulation. He completed his fellowship in outpatient orthopedics (FAAOMPT) in 2022. He has gone on to get certified in intramuscular dry needling and is now persuing his certification in ultrasound diagnostics.
While at Gonzaga Dr. Stobie met his wife, Stephanie, and they got married in 2009 before they moved to Denver. Dr. Stobie and his wife have two kids and love spending time outdoors.
Physical Therapist
Shane Rushing PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Dr. Rushing grew up in Spokane and attended EWU for his Bachelors in Exercise Science and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in Oregon in 2011 and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) in 2016. He also holds a certifcation in intramuscular dry needling.
Shane has spent nearly his entire career helping patients with pain and functional deficits return to doing the activities they love. He lives on a small hobby farm with his wife and two sons and enjoys DIY projects and outdoor activities with his family.
Physical Therapist
Kelsey Barks PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Kelsey Barks is committed to delivering collaborative, high-quality care for individuals with complex musculoskeletal conditions. She specializes in advanced manual therapy techniques, reflex integration, and functional exercise, using a personalized, evidence-based, and hands-on approach. Kelsey’s philosophy centers on partnering with patients—empowering them to understand the root cause of their condition so they can confidently manage and prevent symptoms long-term.
Kelsey is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), completing fellowship training through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM-US). She earned her Doctor of Science (ScD) in Rehabilitative Science with an emphasis in higher education from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2025, following her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Missouri State University and her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Southeast Missouri State University.
Her advanced training includes three Certifications in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) of the spine, upper extremity, and lower extremity. She also holds a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) certification through the International Spine & Pain Institute and additional training in the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) method as well as a certification in intramuscular dry needling.
In addition to her clinical work, Kelsey is passionate about education and mentorship. She serves as a Clinical Instructor (CI) for physical therapy students and as an adjunct faculty member in the Whitworth University DPT Program, where she teaches in the Complex Patient Management course.
Outside the clinic, Kelsey treasures time with her husband and son. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and connecting with family and friends.
